Dr. GULOM Godfrey is a fully registered and licensed Medical Doctor (MD) and a Public Health Specialist, Infectious diseases Consultant and an established Clinician, Senior Administrator, Health Care programmer and a Senior Health consultant. He qualified in Bachelors of Medicine and Bachelors of Surgery (KIU) and a Master of Science in Public Health (CIU). GULOM is the president BREAKWALL AFRICA (BA) limited and BREAKWALL PHARMACEUTICALS and MEDICAL SUPPLIES (BPMS)/Co-Founder established in 2021.
He is fully engaged in various: multi-stakeholders platforms strengthening inform of business cooperation and market shaping dynamics in the African continent with the public and private sector, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing in health care in Africa, medical enterprise one Health, animal health and agro-agribusiness in Africa, health financing and investment models development and technical guidance in Africa, health systems strengthening (HSS) in Africa ,health care programming in Africa ,health sciences research, innovation , technology in Africa, exploration and mining business in Africa, health security and biohazard emergencies in Africa, health care funding and investment opportunities in Africa, consultancy in health care and biomedical services in Africa, occupational health and health safety in Africa, supply chain management and health care financing in Africa, litigation and mitigation in health care in Africa.
He is also a medical Director for an accredited and certified COVID-19 testing centre by the National taskforce COVID-19 Chairman and the Vice president service cluster, the Republic of South Sudan and the senior Team MoH South Sudan called Catherina COV-D19 laboratory testing centre Juba South Sudan and a Technical Consultant and a Clinician at MBN CLINICAL LABORATORIES NAKASERO KAMPALA UGANDA also Accredited and Certified for COVID-19 testing and molecular diagnostics including all infectious diseases care and management.
Godfrey is also the Clinical Director/Co-Founder Lugei Foundation Uganda(L) and a Research Associate at Clarke International University (CIU), and is fully involved in Curative evidence based services, Mainstream community Health programming both in curative and preventive practises, facilitating health trainings, Research, and Community Engagement. Dr. Gulom is passionate about Viral Hepatitis Programming, National Trainer of Trainers SARS-COV-19, National Trainer of Trainers Viral Hepatitis B and C, and a member of the National Technical working group viral Hepatitis Uganda with more focus on HBV & HCV and also a Viral Hepatitis community Champion, Viral Hepatitis Advocate and viral Hepatitis Expert interms of viral hepatitis programming in Africa. He provided strategic technical, leadership, coordination, collaborations and development for the effective operations of Agency for Research and Development Initiative(ARDI) in South Sudan under the Global challenge Research Fund (GCRF) (HIV and AIDS)Project. He also served as a Health Coordinator in ARDI South Sudan in State related Outreaches and programmes Addressing Reproductive, Maternal, adolescent and Child Health Services (RMNACH), viral Hepatitis B & C, and HIV and AIDS through Community Engagement Frameworks and Prevention-Behavioral Change Projects tailored on creating access to quality RMNACH Services, Viral Hepatitis, and HIV/AIDS services. He was also hired as a RMNACH technical expert and a Reproductive Consultant to develop training manuals on Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal, Adolescent and Child Health (RMNACH), community trainings and cross cutting issues for Save the Children across Somalia. While at CIU he was the Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Team Leader – Bidibidi Refugee Settlement Camp field study trip – Health in Conflict & Complex Emergencies, April, 2017 Office of Prime Minister & CIU.
He was also hired as a RMNACH technical expert and a Reproductive Consultant to develop training manuals on Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal, Adolescent and Child Health (RMNACH), community trainings and cross cutting issues for Save the Children across Somalia. He also has strong skills and competences in program development, including; project proposal development, networking and currently he is involved in managing a number of collaborations and partnerships with local agencies, multibillion and multi-international partners and stakeholders such as SD BIOSENSOR SOUTH KOREA, KH MEDICALS SOUTH KOREA, IDL BIOTECH SWEDEN,GAD (global access diagnostics) UK, LIFERIVER USA He has study, work and travel experiences in 18 countries like Uganda (Kampala), South Sudan (Juba), Somalia (Mogadishu and Hargeisa), DRC(Kinshasa), Central African Republic (CAR)- Bangui, Kenya, (Nairobi), Ethiopia (Addis Ababa), Rwanda(Kigali), Burundi (Bujumbura), Tanzania ( Dodoma and Dar es Salaam) , Sudan (Khartoum), Egypt, (Cairo), South Korea, (Seoul) China, (Shenzhen), Japan (OSAKA), Ghana, (Accra) and United Arab Emirates (UAE). (Dubai), Turkey (Ankara) and India- New Delhi.
